The San Diego County Motor Officers' Association, Inc. was founded in 1981 and incorporated as a charitable 501(c)(3) organization under Internal Revenue Service regulations. The Association consists of present and past, active duty and retired police motorcycle officers in the County of San Diego.
The SDCMOA was formed for the purpose of professional improvement and social and recreational enjoyment of all present and past law enforcement motorcycle officers in the County of San Diego. The SDCMOA also provides a means by which to educate the public of the contribution of the motorcycle officer in keeping the peace and providing for public safety.
Each year the SDCMOA hosts events such as the annual May "Peace Officers Memorial Candlelight Vigil", "Law Enforcement Memorial Breakfast" and the "Terry Bennett Memorial Police Motorcycle Training and Competition." These events have had a positive impact on the community and the law enforcement family.
The SDCMOA also supports a variety of charitable organizations that provide support to law enforcement such as Trauma Intervention Programs, San Diego Crime Victims Fund, Concerns of Police Survivors, San Diego County Law Enforcement Memorial Foudation and the California Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation, as well as others.
If you would like to become a member simply complete the application and return it with your $25 annual membership dues. All members will receive a SDCMOA T-Shirt and discounts at SDCMOA sponsored events throughout the year. The SDCMOA also offers sponsorships and financial support to members attending law enforcement events outside the San Diego area.
